Personal History

This blog post will be about personal history. It will be about my Languages, religion, and more.
My grandperants were born in Guyana which is in South America. They speak English there but with an accent. As much as I know I'm sure that all of my ancestors speak English. My religion is Hinduism.

Language: The language I speak is English. The reason I speek English is because I was born and raised in America. My perants and grandperants speak only english, but they had an accent and they were born and raised there. English is the official language in Guyana. There were other languages spoken in Guyana. They speak Engish there because during the eighteenth century the British assumed control.

Religion: My religion is Hinduism. Im not really religous. I dont believe in that stuff but thats just me. Three major religions in Guyana is 57% Chritianity, 37% Hinduism, and 9% Islam. In my family when someone gets married they have something like a religious wedding. The bride would usually wear red or yellow.

Peer Review of I Am

This is a review of Bhabeeta's "I Am" blog post . Her paragraphs were good and detailed. I saw some mistakes, but they werevery minor. The only thing that bothered me was the colors. I didn't like the blue and red mixed. Made it kind of hard to read.

I Am

My name is Hema Puran. I live in Jamaica Queens, NY. I am currently 14 years old. I was born on April 29, 1993. I am an athelitic person. During the winter I like to snowboard and in the summer, I skateboard, play basketball, swim, and other sports. During my free time I go on the computer. I make graphics on photoshop. I've been making graphics for more than a year. I make something on photoshop , atleast one, everyday.

I graduated at Van Wyck M.S 217 on June 22,2007. I am a travel person. I've been to many places. The best place iv'e been to is most likely Europe. I love to listen to music. I have my ipod everywhere I go. I dont think I could live without it. There are times when I can be loud and then there are times when i can be the most quiet person around. I can be mean but thats when you really get on my bad side, which is quite hard to do.

In middle school other than going to art class, afterschool i would go to the band room. I played the drums there, but then i stopped after a while. I didnt know how to read music and I still dont know, but somehow I know how to play the drums. I won the art gold award at the award ceremony. I like to take pictures. Photography is another thing I like to do. Most the pictures I have taken are portraits.

I have two older brothers. One is 33 and the other one is 34 years old. My oldest brother lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana with his wife. I have two nieces. the youngest is 10 and the oldest is 12. I live with both my perants and one of my brothers.
